Q: Is there a big difference in upgrading a regular Infiniti FX35 air box filter into a High-Flow Air Intakes?
I have a '04 Infiniti FX35 using a K&N Air box filter. I'm thinking of upgrading it to an after market High-Flow Air Intake. Is this kind of upgrade really worth the money and effort? Is there a big difference in car performance and gas savings in doing this? Please give me the Pro's and Con's. Thank you.

it's mostly for show unless you do following with high air flow muffler and other upgrades.

Q: What is the music/song to the Infiniti FX35 Commercial?
I'm referring to the Infiniti FX35 commercial that was aired frequently during June/July 2008. It involved a woman driving a car through some big words made of glass which she then shattered through.
Is it really "Mach die Augen Auf"? That's been posted as an answer on these boards before. I listened to that song and it's not the song I recall hearing.
The music sounds like a flute mainly. Does anyone have any idea what piece of music this is?

Q: Which branded Brake Rotor is the best choice for my Infiniti FX35?

As I have new 22inch wheels for my Infiniti Fx35, I would like to know what
the best choice is for new Brake Rotors as mine are nearly gone. Also can I use the same OEM size with 22inch wheels or do I have to upgrade to bigger rotors(380mm) Brands and websites to the rotors would be appreciated. Do Brembo do a brake rotor replacement for the FX?

A: You can't use larger rotors......Not without replaceing a whole bunch of other stuff.
Go with dealer OEM equipment.
Q: Infiniti FX35?
Im looking into buying an FX35. Is there anything I should know? What do you guys think to the styling?
A: the FX and the murano are not the same car ! the FX is based on the 350z/G35 rear wheel drive sport car layout. The Murano is based on the altima front wheel drive sedan. If you try to whip a murano around like you can an FX - you going to crash.
Essentially, the FX is a 350z with a backpack - it is very fast, handles like a sports car, but also rides like a sports car ( hard ). If you need a real SUV with alot of space, you will be disappointed. The styling of the FX is very polarizing - you either love it, or hate it. Its alot of fun to drive however - like to drive it more than my 3 series.
Still, I would suggest you go test drive it before you buy it . If you like to DRIVE - you will like it .. if you like to cruise, you might not like it... Also, note that they have just changed the style for 09... see link for comparison between old style and new style ... hope this helps !!

A: Absolutely love the style of the s2000 better, however, I've driven both of these vehicles and I like the fx35's ride more. Good choice in vehicles, the S2000 is fun but not accommodating for space and can only be driven in fair weather but the fx35 is a badass SUV.
Q: How can you tell the difference between an Infiniti FX35 AWD and RWD?
Im planning on getting a 2004 FX35 soon and there is one that I will get this weekend. It is an AWD (all wheel drive). Is there any way I know it is an AWD besides driving the car? If it is RWD and you step on it, then of course you will possibly do a strong burnout. But if it is AWD, then you will have a smooth launch. Help?? Thanks.
A: One the inside of the car, on the dash to the bottom left of the steering wheel you should see a AWD switch that says AWD or Snow Mode ( depending on year. IF you don't have AWD, that switch will not be there ...
Q: What mods give the Infiniti FX35 that like roaring engine sound?
my friend has an fx35 and i was following him one day on the highway and i loved the way his car sounds. the sound shows that is has power but it doesnt sound like an obnoxious loud muscle car that you get from a high performance exhaust kit. what modification is done to these cars to give it that sound?
A: FX35's come from the factory sounding that way. We have a Maxima with a similar engine and it sounds the same.
Q: What's new in Infiniti FX35 2007 opposed to 2007?
I currently have Infiniti FX35 2007 AWD. My lease is expiring in a month and I was wondering what the difference in the new FX35 AWD 2008 is.
A: Two additions are added to the 2008 model year Infiniti FX35:
1) Standard XM Satellite Radio (requires XM subscription, sold separately) and body-colored satellite radio antenna
2) Available Sheer Platinum premium paint on FX35 (requires Sport Package)
On a side note, Nissan/Infiniti will bring to the market the newest generation of the FX in 2009, FX37 and FX50, right off the bat, upgraded engines over the current FX35 and FX45. We'll hear more info in the upcoming months.

A: The 2008 is pretty much unchanged. The only things are standard XM satellite radio, and new variations for interior/exterior color combinations. Everything else carries over from last year.

A: It's an amazing car. As you might already know it is essentially a Nissan Murano with sofer leather and Infiniti badging. Either way both of them are nice, especially the Infiniti. If you opt for the AWD model than it might be adequate for the mountains, however I don't know because I've never driven one in the snow. My assumption is that the FX is not designed for serious off-roading but if moderate snow is your worry I think it should do the job. If you happen to come across a furious snow strom than I think you might be better off with another vehicle. On the pavement the FX35 should give you more than enough performance but if you want to burn tread on every stop light than consider the FX45 which has a 320-hp V8. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

A: Never heard of Nitto Michelin are very good, Pirelli is another, if you do some research the road speed test or specs will be there , I know some Sams Clubs right now are running a special on Michelins like buy 4 and something else thrown in, I was going to replace my wifes tires but she insisted on a new car.

A: I would suggest Weapon R. They are fantastic for any car. Infinitis are great cars. I wouldn't do anything but the best for it. Try www.superchargedperformance.com. They have one for about 200 bucks is all. Best investment you'll ever make! As for the lowering springs, you shouldn't see any damage come your way.
