Q: 2007 Infiniti FX35 shifter leather cover?
I am looking at a few online sales of 2007 FX35 but I see some with the leather wrapped shifters and some without.
Anyone know the difference?
A: They all should have a leather shifter. the pre- 2006 models have the metal look shifters... you may see some pre-2006 with the leather shifter as it can be bought as an aftermarket product...

It's been approximately three months since I purchased a Dodge Ram 2500-2007, of course I got it financed thru but now I am thinking about trading it in for a 2007- Infiniti FX35 or 45....Is it too soon? Other people in my family think so....Am I going to struggle with my new loan? And am I going to look like an undecided brat? I see people do it all the time, the dealerships are full with cars & trucks with less than 10k miles...help me out...
A: You will lose a BUNCH of $$$. I would expect that the dealer will offer you about 60% of what you originally paid for your truck. If you can stomach a loss like that, go for it! I don't know how you worked the financing but it is very probable that you currently owe considerably more than they will give you trade-in. That means that you will roll that "negative equity" into your new car. You might end up owing $60k on a car that is worth $35k. Be careful.
Q: Infiniti FX35 03-04 or the Acura MDX 04-05?
The Both get the same mpg. and I'm a college student, I'm trading in my 2007 Subaru Legacy...

And so on, they are pretty evenly matched, but does anyone own 1 of these cars that could tell me if they are happy with the car? Which is better?
A: I have a fx35 ...It pretty much is a 350Z with a backpack on it - which means that it handles like a SPORTS car and rides like a sports car ( ie HARD ... ). If you are looking for a true SUV you will be very disappointed in the space in the FX35 compared to the Acura.
After saying all that, I haven't had a car that I've enjoyed driving more than my FX... period. If you LOVE the look of the car, and you don't buy it - will drive you crazy every time you see one drive by you...
I test drove the RDX, and the MDX ... went back to the FX...

Q: 2007 BMW 335i Coupe or 2007 Lexus IS350?
OK, I was looking at BMW 335i Coupe vs. Infiniti FX35 ... but gas mileage on FX35 just turned me off even though I love the way it drove and its style. A friend of mine suggested Lexus IS350 and wow, it's a great comprise between BMW and Infiniti! The fully loaded IS350 is same as what I was going to pay for fully loaded FX35 but with incredible MPG. I had my mind set on BMW 335i Coupe but with what I want in a car, it is little below $50K!
Any thoughts??? Thanks.
A: Get the Lexus.
New BMWs will have a good amount of problems in a few years and repairs are expensive. Lexus on the other hand, dont have as much problems and are much more reliable and most Lexus' have a fantastic sound system. (i think its better than BMW's)
I've seen surveys where Lexus led with the least number of car problems (big and small) per a certain number of vehicles on the road (i dont remember the exact number, but i think it was per 100 vehicles)
