Q: What fuel type does a 2004 INFINITI G35 COUPE take?
Im plannin' on buying a used 2004 g35 coupe, and wondering whether the 2004 version takes supremem unleaded or regular gas........... Which type does it take??

A: premium is recommended for performance, but it is proven that you can run her on regular. The car is equiped with an anti-knock feature, meaning the gas you use will be tolerated. You will suffer minor performance and fuel economy loss though.

Q: till what mileage does 2004 infiniti G35 give proper performance?
since toyotas give proper performance even when they have a mileage of 150000 , I was wondering till what mileage does 2004 infiniti G35 give proper performance and after what point is the car somewhat useless

A: You have been badly misled, milage on the car is no indicator of how many hours are on this car, people will sit and run cars for long times for air cond. etc, so the point is it will last as long as you maintaine all the systems as well as not thrashing the engine, the G35 has a very well built engine. So many young people think that any car with over 100,000miles won't run any longer/the zing is not gone, if so then the owner has trashed said car. I've got one car a Subaru that has 170,000 miles and the emmision test come back like new. All this because I changed the fluids at set times, then the auto/trans has a filter & needs changing on an every 100,000miles to stay fresh.

Q: what is the auto button on the seat in the 2004 infiniti g35?
Its the button on the drivers seat on the far left side. It says auto and cancel on it with a little picture of a seat. Thanks, Serious only.

A: I'm not 100% sure but it could very well be the driver easy entry/exit system. It tilts the steering wheel up and in, also brings the driver seat up, forward and seat-back up to allow slightly easier entry/exit.

Q: How/where do I get a spare key for 2004 Infiniti G35?
Just bought one used at a dealership, but they didn't have the spare key. I would like one for my husband/in case I lose the only key. I have heard that a key at the dealership is REALLY expensive, but haven't checked yet. Does anyone know the best route to go for this? Thanks,

A: A new key must be purchased at an Infiniti dealer. Once you buy it it has to be programed to the car or it won't start the motor. Make sure you have all the keys at the dealer with the car when you buy and program the new key. The programing must be done to all the keys at the same time.

Q: Can anyone tell me how to remove the front brake rotor on a 2004 Infiniti G35 sedan?
I have removed the caliper, pads and the caliper hanger, but the rotor appears to have been pressed on. Do I need to use a puller to remove the rotor?

A: If it doesnt have a screw in it you will either need a tool called a hub shark to remove it (I do not recommend trying that at home because most of the time when you get the rotor free you end up breaking the bearing at the same time) or you can remove the whole spindle and take it to a machine shop to have it pressed off the bearing and the new one pressed on. I recommend the machine shop a little more work for you but much less expensive the hub shark is a VERY expensive tool set.

Q: Best way to sell 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe?
I'm selling my 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe in the NYC area. Need to get a decent price to pay off the loan. What's the best way to sell to get the best price? Ebay, online (KBB, Edmunds, etc), or just putting a for sale sign in the window? And is there a way to sell on Ebay for a set price & not at auction? Thanks. It's a 2004, not 2005. Made a mistake in the question.

A: My husband owns a 05 or 06 not to sure....but anyway, he's in this car club that has a website on G35DRIVER.COM.... Not to sure if you are aware of this but he tells me about these good deals from people selling other g's and other brand cars on the site....I have only checked it out to look at a few pictures so I can't really point you into the right direction besides telling you to go to the site and click on the g35driver.com sign and you should read the banners and go from there.... But he has had his for a while and the club he's in has meets and happy hour and they buy and sell there stuff on there as I'm told.... If that doesn't work try Autotrader....or Ebay but I would only do a private listing and then do in state pick-up..... Hope this little info helps...

Q: Where is the check engine light in a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe?
If it is not it what is the orange light above the fuel guage on the instrument cluster? I am looking at a car on the net and noticed it lights up when the car is cranked. Its the orange light next to the seat belt indicator what is that? I am looking at one online and I am just wondering

A: It says service engine soon and is yellow in color.

Q: How much should I counteroffer on a 2004 infiniti G35 16000 miles 1 owner no crashes listed 23900?

A: Sorry but that price is $2500 above RETAIL!!! Is it at CarMax - they overcharge amounts like this. Edmunds private party is $19,800 loaded with options, Retail is $21,500. Don't let them pull out that Kelly BlueBook - aka Written by Used car dealers FOR used car dealers. The retail prices are inflated and the trade-in's are down in the dirt - that is why they love it. Use edmunds for more realistic values.

Q: How to program an 2004 Infiniti G35 remote?
I can't seem to find any instructions online. I know its just a few steps, but has anyone out there done it?

A: It's in the owners manual.

Q: What size brakes does a 2004 Infiniti G35 6MT w/Brembo package have?
Any ideas on where to buy them?!

A: You can get all the info on the Brembo website. Once you know your specs, google them, online is usually cheaper - assuming you're able to assemble them yourself. Otherwise any self-respecting auto-salon type store should be able to suit you up.

i have a 2004 infiniti G35 sedan. the power is ok but i want it stronger and faster, i have the 6 speed. any ideas? what performance parts should i get just to get more power out of the engine?

Q: 2004 Infiniti G35 Front Bumper...where and how much?
I need to replace the front bumper on my 2004 G35 sedan. I can't seem to find any info on it online. Can anyone help? I at least want to know how much it's going to cost me. Thanks!

A: Typically a new bumper is going to be about $600-$800 installed and painted. A salvage yard bumper repainted and installed will likely save you about $150-$200.

Q: 2002 bmw 330ci or a 2004 infiniti g35 coupe?
i like both cars a lot. the plus about the bmw its sharp, luxurous, sporty and is german made and the price to buy this one is about 5k less than the g35. the infiniti is sharp looking too and its got more hp and torque however i can mod both of them. what should i buy.

A: Take the 5k and get some Dinan go fast parts for it. Save the etc cash for maintenance. The driving performance will be much better than the Infiniti if you are looking for strict performance > Beamer

Q: 2004 Infiniti G35 vs. 2003 BMW 530i to buy as a used car?
I was looking to purchase one of these cars and was wondering if anyone has any opinions as to the reliability/quality of these cars. I like them both and am having a tough time deciding on one.

A: Consumer Reports says the 2003 530i has some engine problems, and problems with the electrical and power equipment. The 2004 Infiniti G35 has brake problems. The BMW will be more costly to repair and less reliable in the long term.

Q: How much should i offer for the 2004 g35 coupe?
