Q: Which car would win in a race...a stock 2007 infiniti g35 coupe, or a manual 2000 ford mustang gt?
the mustang has a v8 and the infiniti has automatic transmission with a v6

A: The Mustang would win by a small margin.. both are 14 second cars. The G35 would look so much better, though.

Q: Best price for 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport with Nav,Prem, and Tech packages?
Does anyone know if I can get this car at or below invoice price with all options for 2007 G35 sport? Or what is the usual rate, a few hundreds above invoice?

A: I have been looking at these recently. I love those. I seen the cheapest in Ohio for $32,000. that is with everything. then the basic cheapest I seen was $28,000 brand new.

Q: If I lease a 2007 Infiniti G35 for 39 months from the dealership, who pays the insurance?
This will be my first car-leasing experience.

A: you pay it you are not leasing it from the dealer your leasing it from a finace company and gap insurance is not mandatory a lease is like renting a car you are responsible for any damage you burn a seat with a cig(for example) you will pay for the seat and most of the time at the end of a lease if you want to buy the car its harder to get finaced because you will owe more to buy it than its worth.BE CAREFUL

Q: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan, Good or Bad on Gas?
This is another car that I plan to get once I get my license in May. My father will buy me a car, but I want to see how good it is on gas. So, if anyone here happens to own a 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan, can you please tell me whether it is good or bad on gas? I don't want to always have to go to the gas station so much. Thanks for the answers in advance.

A: The 2007 Infinity G35 Sedan gets about 19MPG driving in the city, and about 25-27MPG highway driving...it has a 20 gallon gas tank...so if you are getting just 19MPG you should get about 380 or so miles to a tank of gas...keep in mind the 19 and 25-27 are only estimates so it may vary a little bit...this car will be pretty good on gas.

Q: How do I hook up ipod to 2007 G35 Infiniti?
I want to compare my options on how to do this, but I have no idea where to begin?! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

A: on the sterio system there should be a avi plug. buy an avi wire and plug your ipod to your sterio

Q: Can I add paddle shifters to my 2007 Infiniti G35 w/ Automatic Trans?
I like the paddle shifters, but, I don't like the feel of the 18" low-profile wheel/tire package that come with the Sport Pkg (the pkg needed to get paddle shifters from the factory). Can paddle shifters be retrofitted to this car and if so, how hard/expensive would this proposition be?

A: Retrofitting paddle shifters is an expensive proposition due to physical changes needed to the steering wheel and transmission.

Q: How do you tell the difference between an 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan Journey and Base model?
so like my title says, how do you tell if the 2007 g35 sedan is a base model or it is a journey? I believe journey has rear air conditioning vents. but are there any other differences to tell if it is a base or journey? Thanks

A: A Sport Package is available on the Journey. Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine making 306 horsepower the Base and Journey receive a five-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, while the Sport 6MT is only available with a six-speed manual transmission

Q: Where to look for body dimensions/measurments for a 2003- 2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe?
I am looking for body dimensions/measurments for a 2003- 2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe. If someone has a special program or site that can refer me to would be great. im repairing a G35 coupe and want to do measurments first. i have called dealerships and none have this information and have called infiniti customer support but no luck in them. So please someone help me find this. Thank You

A: find a friend that has a g35. otherwise, all the specs should be covered on any site that reviews cars. maybe check infiniti.com

Q: Can you use regular gas on a 2007 infiniti g35 coupe? Does it have that microchip? ?
I just bought one and I was wondering if sometimes I could use regular gas on my g35 since gas is a little expensive sometimes.

A: If you can't afford the gas, you can't afford the car. This applies to any vehicle regardless of the manufacturer. Using regular gas on the G35 engine would cause knocking and exacerbated wear and tear. The higher octane fuel is more viscous so it can travel to and through the engine much faster. Essentially, it can keep up with the larger demand for power and keep things running at an even keel. You'll also notice your mileage will decrease with lower-grade fuel. Using 93 octane instead of the recommended 91-92, I have seen an increase of about 2mpg towards my average. High output engines require the best in order to perform as they were intended. Besides, if premium is $4.25 and regular is $3.95 then multiply thirty cents times about 16 gallons and you don't even save $5 each fill up. But should you decide to go that route, the cost of repairs due to damage you'll do to your engine parts will grossly exceed the amount you saved on regular gas.

Q: Will the AWD version of the new 2007 Infiniti G35 (G35x) have the same AWD system as the 2006?
The Infiniti G35x that ended with the 2006 model had a nifty AWD system that had 100% of the power to the rear wheels when traction was good, and then transferred power to the front wheels when there were traction problems. I assume there will be an AWD version of the "all new" 2007 G35 with the 306 hp engine. When will that model be available? And will it have the same AWD system?

A: The same system and you can see it at you dealer right now.

Q: when the infiniti g37 roles out, how long will dealerships continue to sell NEW 2007 infiniti g35?
i plan on buying the infiniti g35 near the end of this year, will still be able to purchase the 2007 model as NEW?

A: They'll keep selling them till there gone.

Q: how can I program the intelligent key for my 2007 infiniti g35?
i only got one with my car, so i bought one on ebay. Any tips on how to program it? Can it be done w/o going to a dealer?

A: Intelligent keys have to be done at the dealership or a locksmith. Search your yellow pages or online for some locksmiths around your area. Call them up and ask them if they can do it. Some locksmiths have the machines needed to program key fobs. It is usually cheaper to do it at a locksmith.

Q: How do I remove 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan door panels?
I would like to remove the door panels on my G35X so I can replace the stock speakers. I've looked all over on the doors, and I see no way to remove the panels. Any info on how and where the panels are attached would be helpful. Thanks.

A: Look in the owners manual..

Q: What would be a relatively inexpensive way to modify a 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan to get more power?
I don't want to void the warrenty and I'm not mechanically inclinded enough to do anything serious to the motor (ie: supercharger).

A: Air intake or exhaust is your best bet. Both are relatively cheap, easy to install (or cheap to have installed) and will give you some decent power gains for the money. Though in my honest opinion the best bang for your buck is definitely going to be the exhaust because while it should definitely add more power than your air intake, it will also change the sound of the car which will go a long way in helping you "feel" the power you've added. The extra growl you get when you step on the gas is psychologically very satisfying! :-)

Q: Which 2007 infiniti g35 engine has dual intakes? The sedan or the coupe? ?
Curious because I can't find out which one does Dual intakes, I drove one last night and saw the two. Just want to know if they both do because some pictures show one and others show two. INTAKES not EXHAUST, I know the difference!

A: Ok the 2007,2008 G35 sedan has the VQ35HR engine which has the dual ram air intakes. the 2007 G35 coupe still uses the VQ35DE engine that has the single ram air intake but the 2008 G37 uses the VQ37VHR which has the daul ram air intakes. Infiniti doesent make the G35 coupe anymore and isnt going to make the G35 after 2008 i think. Its all going to be the G37. Alos the 2nd Gen. fx35 and the ex35 use the VQ35HR eninge that has dual ram air intakes.
