Q: how do I get the brake pad worn light to go off in a 1994 infiniti Q45?

A: Assuming you have replaced the brake pads, and the light didn't malfunction and give you a false code, try disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it. Sometimes this will clear the code, but it doesn't always work. Good luck to you.

Q: how do I turn off the brake pad worn sign on a 1994 infiniti Q45?

A: repace sensor

Q: I have a 1994 infiniti Q45 and it shuts off while I'm driving and if I don't drive it, the battery goes dead
shuts off while driving and batter goes dead if sitting for more than two days

A: You need a new battery if it goes dead while just sitting for a few days. When you drive it the alternator is charging it back up. You need to have the starting/Charging system tested. Autozone will do it for free.

Q: No heat in my 1994 Infiniti Q45?
I have been told that it's the heating core, but a mechanic said it wasn't that...It blows out cold air...what should I do?

A: Take it back to the mechanic and ask him to replace the proportioning valve that allows hot water from the engine to enter the heater core.

Q: 1994 Infiniti Q45 Alarm?
I lost my alarm remote, the car does not let me turn it on until i disable the alarm system. Can anyone tell me how to disable the alarm system, or is there a circuit i can just remove?

A: With all doors shut, put key in the driver door lock and turn four to the left and four to the right, it may be right first I can`t remember.

Q: Brakes - Infiniti Q45 1994..?
My reliable Old 1994 Q45 needs new brake rotors.. Saw them on Internet at 95/each... http://www.ultimatetruck.com/product_slots.aspx?product_id=power_slot_slotted_brake_rotors&year=1994&make=1043&model=20620 These are obviously not OEM.. are they nonetheless reliable replacements? How much can I expect to pay for Originals (OEM's)? 95 dollars a competitive price? How much should my mechanic bill me to put these in? Thanks!

A: Yes, the are adequate, however I would recommend you just get standard rotors. I recommend Raybestos PG+ rotors and pads. These are thier high end components. We will not use anything besides these unless specifically requested by the customer, because this line seems to hold up the best. You do not want to get cheap with brakes. As was stated earlier, OEM parts are not always what came from the factory, just what is autherized to be sold and used in a dealership. Buy them from a reputable auto parts store, not autozone. Expect around 90$ or so for the labor with a good private shop. Save yourself a headache and skip the big national chain shops. Too many horror stories. Jim

Q: type of gas that 1994 infiniti q45 use?

A: Look it up in your owner manual...it should specify the fuel you really only need...try finding in the index of the book....Infinite usually has good books to learn about their cars.

Q: IAM LOOKING FOR SERVICE MANUALS FOR 1994 INFINITI Q45 CAR.?

Q: 1994 Infiniti Q45 electrical problems?
Pretty much all of the warning lights came on last night while driving to work. TCS, Slip, ABS, Brake, Air Bag, etc. Charged it up but won't keep charge after a couple hours. Driving won't charge. I think its the alternator and I'm going to get it tested and the battery. Question is, what else could it be and are the lights related? Also, the power windows and locks don't work except on the driver door. What could be causing that and how do I check for it? Thank you so much in advance. If anyone can answer these questions... you rock!

A: sounds like your alternator is gone, you can test to see if it's your alternator by starting the engine and letting it run then take the positive terminal off the battery while running, if the engine stalls it's the alternator

Q: Infiniti Q45 question?
1994 Infiniti Q45; Where can I find the relay? ?? Any help at all will be great appreciated. Thank you. The problem is that the fan is constantly blowing I can not turn it off unless I take out the 15.V spark plug. I was told to take the relay out and reinsert it to see if it will reset itself. The blow motor is running constant. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you.. '94 Q45 188K miles. Disconnecting the fan until I find the relay huh? As the first person who answered my questions says. I'll try that but please someone with some experience please submit a clever answer. Thanks for all answers.

A: Disconnect the fan until you find the appropriate relay.

Q: What is the max mileage on an old Infiniti?
I have a 1994 Infiniti q45 with 175,000 miles and a bad injector. I'm wondering if its worth paying $800 plus to get it fixed, if its going to die on me soon anyway. I take pretty good care of the car but I commute 80 miles two days a week and I'm not sure how much more mileage it can handle or how much longer it will last me. Any advice?

A: Well, I'm sure that the car still drives decent and looks fine, but it may not be the most reliable car considering its age and mileage. Still, the price to repair sounds awefully high, I'd get a second quote from an non-Infiniti dealer. Since you only drive twice a week it will probably last you a few years with less then $1000 a year in maintainence. The problem with an old car is it could quickly have many more problems or keep going with only minimal repairs for years...but then with all the money you save over a new car (a Infiniti G35 with 5 yr loan would cost you $600 a month...compare that to your $800 repair!) you can easily afford to fix it or simply scrap it...its a win-win situation so go ahead and get it fixed, when the transmission or gaskets go then its time to bury it.

Q: which car has the fastest top speed a 2004 Q45 infiniti or a 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham?
assuming theres no governer

A: If there was no govenor I'd assume the infinity. I say that because the Brougham is soo heavy itd need 3.73 gears to even keep up with the acceleration of the infiniti @ a cost to top speed maybee. Then again those jap. cars seem rev up to the sky but American torque comes in at alot lower RPM. But I dont know for sure what the gearing is in the V8 infinitis. My 1988 Brougham has a 2.56 rear end which is NOT made for hard acceleration.

Q: infiniti repairs stuck window?
Drivers side window on an infiniti Q45 1994 is stuck halfway down. The motor still works and will lower the window but will only raise it half way. A repair mechanic said that it is a very expensive repair and would take all day to fix it? Any suggestions, I am getting cold. Any repair shops in Dallas? Would an auto body shop or car window glass shop be better (and more reasonable) for fixing this problem?

A: Have YOU tried pullling it UP when it's in motion ??? Sometimes it's just a 'roller' problem and will right itself if you help it. (pushing down, without too much pressure might work too.) I would think any car repair shop could fix it..(power windows are the norm these days...not the few they once were...)

Q: Car Question! 10 Points for Best Answer! I want to know why my car is leaking water but I have not used the AC
I own a 1994 Infiniti Q45 and i noticed that all this week its been leaking water. Thing is, it leaks water even if I have not used the AC (I am aware that it's normal for cars to leak water when using the AC). So can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Your answers are much appreciated. Thanks!

A: If you are absolutely sure that it is water, what might have happened is the drain tube from the evaporator is clogged and the condensed water has no place to go and is leaking out somewhere. This is not that uncommon with older vehicles.
