The final merit ranking will be released after the second JEE Main exam, scheduled from 21st to 30th July. Meanwhile, NTA reopened the registration window for the July exams until Tuesday at 11:30 pm.
Telangana’s top scorers are Jasti Yashwanth VVS, Rupesh Biyani, Aniket Chattopadhyay and Dheeraj Kurukunda. Koyayana Suhas, Penikalpati Ravi Kishore and Polisetty Karthikeya are the top scorers in Andhra Pradesh.
Other candidates who achieved the 100 percentile are Sarthak Maheshwari (Haryana), Kushagra Srivastava (Jharkhand), Mrinal Garg (Punjab), Navya (Rajasthan), Boya Harsen Sathvik (Karnataka) and Saumitra Garg (Uttar Pradesh).
The NTA score is not equal to the percentage of the votes obtained. According to an NTA official, “NTA scores are normalized scores on multisession documents and are based on the relative performance of everyone who took the exam in a session. Grades obtained are converted to a scale of 100 to 0 for each. session of examiners.
After both sessions of JEE Main 2022, candidate rankings will be released taking into consideration the best of the two NTA scores.
Of the total 8.7 lakh applicants who had registered for the computer-based entry test for admission to engineering courses and JEE Advanced eligibility for IIT admission, 7.69 lakhs took the test . The exam was conducted in 588 exam centers in 407 cities, including 17 cities outside India: Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Colombo, Jakarta, Vienna, Moscow, Port Louis and Bangkok.
Over 550 observers, 424 citizen coordinators, 18 regional coordinators, 369 adjunct and independent observers and two national coordinators were sent to the examination centers to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.
The exam was conducted in 13 languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
“A control room was opened in the NTA premises where virtual observers were deployed for live CCTV coverage of all test centers in India. Real-time CCTV surveillance was done to curb malpractice in exams, “said an NTA official.
“NTA also made arrangements for live viewing in remote locations and recording the CCTV systems of all test centers at the control room located in the NTA. About 35,000 cameras were installed per shift, “he said.
