Coming to the game, a blistering partnership between Rohit and Shikhar and a six-wicket carry by Jasprit Bumrah guided the Indian side to a 10-wicket win over England in the first ODI of the three-game series.
Rohit completed 76 carries on 58 balls while Shikhar scored 31 carries on 54 balls to help the Men in Blue pursue the target of 111 carries in just 18.4 overs. Besides Bumrah, Mohammed Shami took three wickets while Prasidh Krishna settled for one.
