Manya Singh: ‘My dream was to buy a house for my parents!’

Manya Singh, who was hailed as the daughter of the motorists who won the crown at Femina Miss India 2020, reached a milestone and fulfilled the first ever wish that he expressed immediately after winning the crown.

A 14-year-old’s dream and efforts paid off and she credits her parents for their constant support and trust in her. Amidst struggling to make ends meet, Manya’s father made sure to provide education for her children; today, the nation praises the queen for her simplicity and humble conduct.

By doing more jobs, taking classes for children in the slums, completing her education and preparing for the national competition, Manya certainly had her hands full, but she managed to make it all come true and ultimately fulfilled her dream of buying her parents a home they could call them!

Expressing her emotions about the joyful moment in her life, Manya said: “My mother believed that we would never be able to afford a home in Mumbai and, in the future, we will all have to go back to Uttar Pradesh despite having worked hard all my life. But it was my dream to buy a house for my parents in their name so that they felt safe enough to call Mumbai their city.

My parents gave me the opportunity and they worked hard so that I could have a good life in the city of dreams, so I wanted to do my part and give them a home. So now I can’t wait to decorate the new house and make it our sweet paradise. ”
