A teenager in the UK wanted in connection with a stolen car was caught hiding by police in a giant teddy bear, police revealed on Wednesday.

Joshua Dobson, 18, was arrested near Manchester last month on charges of theft of motor vehicles, disqualified driving and leaving a gas station without paying, police said.

Police searched Dobson at a house in Rochdale, where they found him hiding in a strange place.

“When we went to arrest him, our agents noticed a large bear breathing in the address before finding Dobson inside,” police said.

Dobson was officially convicted last week on charges and will spend nine months in jail, Rochdale authorities said.
