The propaganda newspaper Kayhan, spokesman for Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei, announced in a sensational front-page editorial that the assassination of President Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in the cards.

In an editorial on Saturday, the newspaper wrote: “Attack on [Rushdie] it shows that it is not a difficult job to take similar revenge on Trump and Pompeo and from now on they will feel more in danger for their lives. ”

On Friday, 24-year-old New Jersey resident Hadi Matar, who showed great sympathy for the Iranian regime on Facebook, was charged with attempted murder in the attack on famed British American novelist Salman Rushdie in upstate New York.

The fiery anti-Western newspaper wrote in its editorial: “God took revenge on Rushdie”.

So if Biden’s State Department wants to reject this threat, like all the other alarming signals about the modus operandi of the Shia mafia, and moving forward with their pie-in-the-sky deal, will have signed US security and signaled to Tehran that the season is open in the West. ”

VICE news outlet reported that Matar, Rushdie’s suspected stabber, had been in contact with “people directly involved in or adjacent to the Quds Force.”
