NEW DELHI: Olympic javelin thrower champion Neeraj Choprawho withdrew from the recent Commonwealth Games due to a minor injury, was on the list of competitors for Lausanne Diamond League Meeting August 26.
But he has not yet made a decision on his participation in the prestigious competition.
The 24-year-old had missed CWG Birmingham due to a ‘minor’ groin injury he suffered while winning a historic silver medal at the World Championships in Eugene, USA. United last month. He was advised a month’s rest.
“Neeraj is working on his rehabilitation and his team will take a call regarding the Lausanne Diamond League closer to the event,” a source said.
