ROTTERDAM (Reuters) – Pakistan beat the Netherlands by nine points despite a brave effort from the home side in the third and final one-day international match in Rotterdam on Sunday.
The Netherlands were all out for 197 in the final in which they needed 14 points for a first-ever win against Pakistan.
Tight bowling limited Pakistan to just 206 with captain Babar Azam best score with 91.
In response, Tom Cooper (62) and Vikramjit Singh (50) scored for the Dutchman, but teenage fast bowler Naseem Shah with 5-33 proved Pakistan’s key as they swept the series 3-0.
