A tree cutter died after falling into a wood chipper in the San Francisco Bay Area, authorities said.
The man’s name was not released, but police said he was working in Menlo Park, 25 miles south of San Francisco, when he crashed.
Officers arrived to find him dead from his injuries after his fall, which occurred just before 1pm on Tuesday.
Investigations into the man’s death will be conducted by the State Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
