The Dutch princess moved from student accommodation to the palace due to security concerns and threats from criminal gangs

Dutch princess Catharina-Amalia, the future queen of the Netherlands, has moved into a mansion in The Hague and “can’t really go out” in a sharp reversal of her plans to go to college and live like a “regular student”.

“I find it uncomfortable until I’m doing a lot in return and the other students are having a lot more trouble,” Amalia wrote in a letter to Prime Minister Mark Rutte regarding her decision.
