Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev leads a colleague less than 3 weeks after returning from space

After three missions in space, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev found himself in trouble on Earth when he flew over a colleague on a dark road outside Moscow, less than three weeks after returning from his last mission to orbit.

Russian space company Roscosmos said Artemyev did not see an employee of the Star City cosmonaut training center who was crossing the street in the dark towards the end of Monday.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said that Artemyev immediately provided first aid assistance to the victim, Anatoly Uronov, who was hospitalized with several fractures. Roscosmos pointed out that Artemyev was sober and immediately called the police and an ambulance.
