Arsenal footballer Pablo Mari among 5 stabbed in Italian supermarket attack, one killed


MILAN: A knife-wielding man stabbed five people inside a shopping center south of the Italian city of Milan on Thursday, killing one person, Italian media reported.
Police have arrested a 46-year-old Italian suspected in the attack, according to the news agency The Press reported.
A supermarket worker died en route to hospital, according to the ANSA Press Agency. Among the injured were a Spanish footballer, Pablo Mariwhich is loaned to A-series Monza club Arsenalreports Lapresse.
The motive for the attacks was unknown. Italian authorities said there was no evidence to suggest terrorism, LaPresse reported.
