Pro Kabaddi League: Akash Shinde, Mohit Goyat’s heroics hand Puneri Paltan win | Pro-Kabaddi-League News

PUNE: Puneri Paltan put up a clinical performance to record a 43-38 victory over Dabang Delhi in the Kabaddi Pro League (PKL) here on Tuesday.
Akash Shinde and Mohit Goyat the two picked up 13 points in a fine performance while Fazel Atrachali’s defense saw the home side condemn Delhi to a fifth consecutive loss.
After trading a pair of empty raids, Goyat lifted the packed crowd, with a super raid to hit Krishan, Anil Kumar, Vijay Kumar, which put the Paltans ahead.
That raid alone set the tone for the majority of the half, as Paltan unleashed against a confidence-lacking Delhi defense. The first all-out came in the opening five minutes as the Pune side extended their lead to 10-3.
Despite slow resistance in Delhi, Paltans got a second to take a huge lead.
Dabang Delhi looked in a bad mood. Slowly though, they recovered with Naveen Kumar finding his feet to catch Fazel Atrachali and Gaurav Khatri to bring them back into the game.
They entered the break 23-17 down, but with only two Pune players on the mat.
Akash Shinde’s super raid on Anil Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Ravi Kumar snatched the initiative from Pune.
