Joe Biden warned Americans that “MAGA Republicans” are “trying to succeed where they failed in 2020” to subvert the will of voters in the coming midterms.
In a speech that comes just six days before the major poll, the US president said democracy is under attack because Donald Trump refused to accept the 2020 election results.
Biden warned, “There are candidates running for every level of office in America, for the governor, for the Congress, for the attorney general, for the secretary of state, who will not commit to accepting the results of the elections in which they are held. they find.

Pointing to the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Biden warned that Trump’s false claims about stolen elections have “fueled the dangerous increase in political violence and voter intimidation over the past two years.”
Paul Pelosi, 82, was seriously injured after being assaulted with a hammer at his home in California last week.
“There is an alarming increase in the number of people in this country who condone political violence or simply remain silent,” Biden said. “Silence is complicity”.
He singled out the “ultra-MAGA Republicans” – a reference to Trump’s Make America Great Again slogan – as a minority but a “driving force” in the Republican Party.
