Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale who is being treated at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune is now showing slow and steady improvement.
As per latest update, PRO Shirish Yadgikar of Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital shared that “Vikram Gokhale is showing slow but steady signs of improvement. He is eye opening and it is likely that in next 48 hours he will not be supported by ventilator anymore”.
Earlier, dismissing reports of his death, the acclaimed actor’s daughter, Neha Gokhale, told a news agency that her father was “alive and not dead yet. Keep praying.”
A hospital official added that Gokhale was on respiratory support and doctors were doing their best.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Gokhale was last seen in Jitendra Joshi’s ‘Godavari’ opposite Neena Kulkarni and Gauri Nalawade.
