NEW DELHI: India’s star goalie-beater Rishabh pants suffered several injuries in a car accident on Friday. The car, which Pant was driving himself, collided with a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and caught fire. There was no one else traveling with him.
The 25-year-old was injured in the head, back and leg. He is being treated at MAX Hospital in Dehradun.
After Pant’s horrific accident, former and current cricketers took to social media and posted messages for his speedy recovery.

Pant has been left out of the upcoming limited series against Sri Lanka. The star star played a big role in India’s two-round Test victory over Bangladesh. Pant had scored a winning shot of 93 in the second test at Mirpur.
Pant has scored 2,271 runs in 33 Tests so far with help from five centuries and 11 fifties. He has also represented the country in 30 ODIs and 66 T20Is.
