Watch: Rahul Tripathi takes a splendid catch on debut | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Your country’s first game was never easy for any other player but India Rahul Tripathi kept his nerve to take a well-judged hold against Sri Lanka in the second T20l of the three-game series at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Thursday.
The incident happened in the 12th round of the Lankan round when Pathum Nissanka went for a fired shot only to find Tripathi on the deep boundary of the mid-wicket.
The local lad kept his composure while keeping his eyes on the ball as he caught an excellent one close to the boundary line.

Nissanka, who became the victim of Axar Patel, scored 33 of 35 balls with four boundary assists.

Earlier India, who made two changes to their side as Tripathi replaced Sanju Samson while Arshdeep Singh came on in place of Harshal Patel, won the draw and opted to play Sri Lanka unchanged.
