GENEVA: The World Health Organization said on Wednesday that XBB.1.5 Omicron the Covid-19 subvariant could spur more cases.
“Based on its genetic characteristics and early growth rate estimates, XBB.1.5 may contribute to the increased incidence of cases,” the WHO said after a technical meeting on Jan. 5.
