NEW DELHI: MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya‘s camaraderie, both on and off the pitch, is no secret. On Thursday, Pandya, who credits Dhoni with instilling a sense of calm in tense finishes, shared a photo with the Indian legend on an old bike with a sidecar.

The reference will be understood by any Indian cinema lover. A similar bike with a sidecar was made famous by the insanely popular movie “Sholay”, one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood history.
The song scene featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra on a motorcycle with a sidecar is one of the most iconic scenes in Hindi cinema history.
Pandya will captain India in the three-game T20I series against New Zealand, starting January 27 (Friday) at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, which is Dhoni’s home town.
