NOTTINGHAM: Nottingham ForestIt is Brennan Johnson scored the winner but he was a rookie keeper Clelor Navas they had to thank for a gritty 1-0 premier league home win against Leeds United on Sunday.
The 36-year-old Costa Rican, on loan from Paris St Germain until the end of the season, made a series of superb reflex saves to deny a Leeds side who were dominating possession but couldn’t get past him.
Forest took the lead against the run of play when the Leeds defender Pascal Struijk fouled Johnson and he made the mistake worse by missing his headed clearance from the free kick, giving Johnson a chance.

The Welsh forward didn’t need another invitation, firing a raspy volley into the net to break the deadlock with his team’s first effort on target.
The visitors could have equalized but Luis Sinisterra somehow he pushed his effort over the bar with the goal at his mercy, and when Leeds managed to get effort on target, Navas reacted smartly to stop them from enter.
Despite spending much of a frenetic second half defending, Forest held on to extend their Premier League unbeaten streak to five games. They moved into 13th place in the table with 24 points, six ahead of Leeds who are 17th.
