BJP neta detained for attack on CPM rally in Tripura | Tripura election news

AGARTALA: At least 13 people were injured in poll-related violence in Tripura on Saturday night as BJP workers reportedly attacked and set fire to two opposition offices CPM in the Khowai and Unakoti districts of the northeastern state voting for a new assembly on February 16.
This happened on a night the police arrested Shivayn DasBJP youth chairman in Majlishpur constituency, for allegedly attacking a CPM rally in Sachindra colony. He was accused of preventing CPM and congressional workers from attending campaign rallies and assaulting them.
Police said two separate cases were recorded in relation to the violence at the stand where six motorcycles were also destroyed. No one has been arrested yet.
Secretary of the CPM Jitendra Choudhury he said at least six CPM and congressional employees were injured while holding office of the party Play it in Khowai district was attacked and set on fire by BJP supporters at 20:15.
