Greetings! Nanotechnology Drops Coming to Prevent Hangovers | Lucknow News

LUCKNOW: Lovers of the drink have one more reason to rejoice with a scientist from Chennai who along with his Sultanpur-based business partner is proposing a nanotechnology-based solution to prevent hangovers.
A product of Danta Ventures Private Limited (DVPL), a start-up incorporated in UP’s Sultanpur last month, the nanoparticle-infused colloidal solution took five years to develop and was approved by Biotech Testing Services and Tamil Nadu Test Housewho carry out tests according to FSSAI standards.
The company applied for a patent of their unique product on February 8th.
The CEO of the company and the freelance scientist who is the brains behind the breakthrough technology, Sudhir Reddy he said: “I have been working on solutions based on nanotechnology for a decade, especially on antimicrobial solutions. The main problem with alcohol is the oxidative stress it creates in the body, which leads to hangovers, headaches, constipation and liver disease.
“Just two drops of my nanoparticle-infused colloidal solution releases multiscale oxygen particles into the digestive system which catalyzes the easy functioning of enzymes and aids in the digestion and processing of alcohol in the body, improving oxygen levels and thus relieving stress the body, especially the liver, resulting in the prevention of hangovers and other adverse effects,” said Reddy, who received a gold medal from the ministry of science and technology, in collaboration with Lockheed Martin.
He trained at Stanford University in ‘Innovation Commercialization’ and graduated in management at Madras University.
Shuchi Tandonthe co-founder & CMD of DVPL, who also has more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and runs food services in Sultanpur and Lucknow, said, “For more than two decades, I have observed the negative impact of consuming of alcohol and have aspired to find a solution to this problem. Our nanoparticle-infused colloidal solution is the real hangover solution. We are now launching an app-based bartending service called “Healthy Bar-on-Wheels” , leveraging our patented nanotechnology that promises to combat the negative effects of alcoholic beverages.”
In the free mobile app, consumers wishing to host a party at home can download and order the bartending service, cocktails and soft drinks. At the appointed time, the company’s closest affiliate would deliver company-trained bartenders to the customer’s door along with a mobile bar, glassware, syrups, and other supplies and equipment for serving guests.
“At a minimal charge of Rs 10 per peg (30ml), guests can enjoy the optional healthy version of the cocktails or mocktails with our nanoparticle-infused colloidal solution,” said Shuchi.
