NEW DELHI: Pacer Australia Josh Hazlewood was excluded from the course Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Hazlewood will be returning home after failing to recover from an Achilles tendon injury, the team said on Monday.
Hazlewood, who has played 59 tests for Australia so far, had missed the first two tests of the series with an injury sustained in the third test against South Africa in Sydney in January.
Any changes to the squad will be announced on Wednesday once the recruiters and medical staff have deliberated, a team spokesman said.

Mitchell Starc and handyman Cameron Green they also missed the first two games as both recovered from broken fingers.
Australia are 2-0 down in the four-Test series after being bowled by six wickets in Sunday’s second match in Delhi and an innings and 132 runs in the first match in Nagpur.
