Justin Bieber Cancels Rest of Justice World Tour | Ent & Arts News

Justin Bieber has canceled the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour due to ongoing health issues.

The Canadian singer has been forced to postpone his world tour several times already due to his ongoing recovery from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome (RHS).

The rare condition had resulted in complete paralysis of the right side of the face in June, forcing Biber to cancel the performances.

RHS is caused by viral reactivation and causes facial paralysis, or facial palsy as it is known in the United States.

A post on the tour’s official Twitter page confirmed that the rest of the tour’s dates, including several in the US, Australia and Europe, would be cancelled.

The tour has amassed more than $65m (£46m) in revenue over the past year, even as fans have expressed their dismay online that they still haven’t received their previously promised refunds.

He announced a return to touring in July but shows postponed again to September in order to “make my health a priority”.

At the time, Bieber said the shows in Europe had “taken a real toll” on me and he needed more time to “rest and get better.”

What is Ramsay Hunt Syndrome?

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a complication of the shingles virus that can occur in people who had chicken pox as children.

The NHS says it is caused by a virus in the facial nerve.

Possible symptoms include blisters in the ears and on the roof of the mouth, as well as facial weakness.

It can be treated with steroids, antiviral drugs and facial rehabilitation.
