Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi manish Sisodia he filed a request for regular bail with the Rouse Avenue courthouse on Friday, which will likely review him on Saturday, when he should be presented before the judge when his five days are up CBI extension custody. He moved the court down after the SC refused to intervene in his case, arguing that it had sufficient legal remedies.
Sisodia was arrested last week by the CBI in its alcohol excise investigation. On February 27, the court had granted the CBI five days of pre-trial detention against Sisodia to question him on the alleged irregularities, stating that he “had not provided satisfactory answers”.
