NEW DELHI: Considered the next big star in Indian cricket, Prithvi Shaw has had many ups and downs since its international debut. He recently became part of the controversy when he had an altercation at a nightclub with social media influencer Sapna Gill.
The fiery fly-half, who starred for India in a T20I against Sri Lanka in 2021, appeared to have shared his bitter experience with the people on Thursday by writing a cryptic story on his Instagram account that left fans baffled.
“Some people will only love you to the extent that they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits end,” Shaw wrote in his Instagram story.

Shaw has been part of controversies in the past when he was suspended for eight months for doping in 2019. He also reportedly failed the yo-yo test last year at CNA.
He also made headlines during IPL 2020 for all the wrong reasons after Capitals of Delhi Head coach Ricky Ponting revealed that Shaw refused to hit the net.
Shaw was selected in the T20I squad for the home series against New Zealand in January, but failed to make the final XI in any of the matches.
The right-hander will next be seen in action for Delhi Capitals in the 2023 Indian Premier League, starting March 31.
