With a new Indian Premier League (IPL) season just three weeks away, the Mumbai Indians unveiled their new kit on Friday.
Designed by duo Shantanu and Nikhil, the jumpsuit remains the usual MI blue and gold.
Initially, fans purchasing the new jersey will have the option of personalizing it by writing their name on the back, as well as a number of their choice.
Speaking at the unveiling, a Mumbai Indians spokesperson said: “Our team shirt reflects the ethos of the Mumbai Indians. Over the years, the Mumbai Indians have been home to many aspirations that have emerged as inspiring stories.It is synonymous with the spirit of Mumbai that opens its arms with opportunities to every individual who dreams and believes in their future.
“We can’t wait to take to the pitch with the support and passion of our fans as we put on this shirt.”
