SS Rajamouli’s RRR Naatu Naatu has captured the Western imagination. Now, in a few hours, it would be time for the Oscars ceremony. MM Keeravani, the architect of this turbulent Indian dream is confident of carrying the coveted trophy.
Says Keeravani: “We’ve talked about it (taking home the Oscars) every time Naatu Naatu has won an American award in the last three months. The event is now hours away. And I feel the same way: I’m hopeful. Naatu Naatu has the potential to win. It’s not vanity. I know my skills as a composer and I know how good or bad each composition is. I think I did well for Naatu Naatu.”

Providing more information about Naatu Naatu and the Oscars ceremony on March 12 (tomorrow morning in India) Keeravani says, “Singers Naatu Naatu Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj will perform the song live on stage. Lauren Gottlieb will dance to the beat of the song.
Keeravani is ready for the big night. “I want India to pray for us.”
