NEW DELHI: India continued its good course in the FIH Pro League as they recorded their second victory against the world champions Germany in three days to climb to first place in the standings at the Birsa Munda stadium in Rourkela on Monday.
With the win, the Harmanpreet Singh-led side moved to the top of the standings with 17 points from seven matches, ahead of Spain on goal difference.

But India quickly entered the scene with goals of Jugraj Singh (21st, CP), Abhishek (22nd, 51st), Selvam Karti (24, 46) and skipper Harman Preet Singh (26th) to seal a third victory in a row.
For Germany, Gonzalo Peillat (23rd, PC) and Malta Hellwig (31st) scored the remaining goals. India had beaten World Cup winners Germany and Australia in previous matches.
