NW DELHI: India to face Australia in Trial World Championship (WTC) at the Oval in London in June after New Zealand beat Sri Lanka in a thrilling first test in Christchurch on Monday.
Sri Lanka would qualify for the WTC Final had they beaten New Zealand in their two-match series and Australia had denied India victory in the Fourth Test being held in Ahmedabad.
The WTC Final will be played from 7 to 11 June.
New Zealand had defeated India by eight wickets in the inaugural WTC final in 2021.
