Virat Kohli: WATCH: ‘King’ Kohli Wins Hearts, Gives Australian Players Memorabilia | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Respecting opponents and having great camaraderie with them off the pitch is a mark of a great cricketer and Indian superstar Virat Kohli did the same on Monday when he presented his signed shirts to his Australian counterparts after the end of the fourth and final test in Ahmedabad.
The BCCI captured the touching gesture of one of modern day Kohli’s greats and posted a video on their Twitter account, saying: “King Kohli had some memorabilia to give to his Australian team mates after the final test. Gestures like these” .

Earlier in the day, India qualified for the Trial World Championship (WTC) final and conquered the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the fourth time in a row after the fourth and final game against Australia it ended in a dismal draw.

India’s place in the WTC final against Australia was blocked before the post-lunch session as Sri Lanka lost the Christchurch Test to New Zealand by two wickets as Kane Williamson’s magnificent hundred led his side on their way to one of the most thrilling victories in Test cricket.
