NEW DELHI: Following its dismal exit at the All England Championshipindian driving ace Lakshya Sen slipped six places to world number 25 in the latest BWF men’s singles rankings on Tuesday.
Lakshya hasn’t been in his best form lately, having made early exits from the Malaysian Open, India Open And German Open.
The 21-year-old had achieved a career world record. 6 in November last year, but could not maintain the momentum of the current season.
Last year, Sen had a wild run on the European Tour at the start of the season, winning the Indian Open and reaching the finals in Germany and England.

HS Prannoy remained stable in ninth place, while Kidambi Srikanth regained its place in the top 20 after climbing two positions.
In women’s singles, PV Sindhu remained in ninth place, while Saina Nehwal, who skipped the All England Championships, slipped five places to 32nd.
The men’s pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty continued in sixth place, while the women’s combination of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand dropped a rung to 18th, despite finishing in the semis last week.
