Hardik Pandya is a born leader, says David Miller | Cricket News

JAIPUR: Defending champions Gujarat Titans’ senior mid-level batsman David Miller believes the team has “reaped very well this season.” With 12 points in nine games and a . 532 net run rate, the Titans currently top the points table.
“Yes, there are always expectations, but so far so good. We talked about what we did last year and what we did right and what we didn’t do right. Obviously the last game didn’t go our way (against the Delhi Capitals who the Titans lost by five runs), but we found a way to win and we’re competing really well. The flow from last year has kind of carried over to this year,” Miller said on the eve of the Titans’ game against the Rajasthan Royals at SMS Stadium.

Miller said the Titans aren’t taking any game lightly and Friday’s game is no different.
“The Royals are a very strong unit and I feel that in the IPL every competitor is very strong so you have to play your ‘A’ game every time you go out on the pitch.”
Share your views on Hardik Pandya‘s captaincy and his influence on the team, the swashbuckling South African batsman said: “It’s been a really great journey with him and I’ve learned a lot. He has a lot of authority. He is a born leader and has matured a lot over the years. You feel calm, relaxed and motivated under him. He knows how to get the best out of guys and I really like that side of him.”
