Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested outside the High Court in Islamabad

NEW DELHI: Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrested from outside Islamabad High Court.
According to local reports, the PTI chairman was taken into custody by Rangers, where he had gone to seek bail on multiple FIRs registered against him.
Khan was due to appear before the Islamabad High Court in a case involving mutiny and another involving attempted murder charges.

Khan, 70, used a rally over the weekend to accuse the military of being behind at least two attempts to kill him, focusing on the alleged involvement of a senior Inter-Service Intelligence official.
Islamabad Police said Section 144 was imposed in the national capital.
