Donald Trump ‘only loves women he can control’, says TV star Ruby Wax, after ex-president held accountable for sexually abusing writer Ent & Arts News

Donald Trump “only likes women he can control,” Ruby Wax told Sky News, adding, “He was the most dangerous man I’ve ever met.”

His comments come later Trump was held accountable for sexually abusing writer E Jean Carroll in the 1990s, as well as for defamation.

The civil trial rejected her claim that she was raped during the meeting, and Donald Trump denies any wrongdoing and has said he will appeal the decision.

Wax met the former US president in the 1990s for his Ruby Wax Meets show and told Kay Burley on Sky News, “He got me.”

He caught me. She said you are aggressive with a smile,” added Wax, who was born in the United States.

“And that was because I felt like a trapped animal. I don’t date sexually, but if I did, he would have had me.

“But I didn’t, so he hated me: he only likes women that he can control and use as some kind of…toy.”

The author also recalled the time she was alone with the businessman, telling Burley, “At one point he got into my car with no sound and told me exactly what he thinks of women. And it was frightening.

“And if I had the sound, he would have gotten it [sic] more votes because that is my country”.

Speaking of the United States, he said, “In the old days, (people) would have said, ‘This guy can’t get close to anything’ – and same with Bill Cosby.”

Bill Cosby was incarcerated in 2018 on sexual assault charges, but the the verdict was overturned two years latermaking him a free man.

Last year, Cosby was held responsible for sexual assault a woman at the Playboy Mansion, and ordered to pay damages.

He denied all allegations.

Following his defeat in his US libel trial, Trump lashed out at his site Truth Social, calling the result “a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time” and a “disgrace”.

He said the judge was biased and made sure “the outcome was as negative as possible, speaking and scrutinizing a jury from an anti-Trump area…”
