Meet Demands in 15 Days or More, Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Pilot Warns CM Gehlot | News from India

JAIPUR: Former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot made three demands on Ashok Gehlot’s government on Monday, with the caveat that he would launch a statewide unrest if these were not met by the end of May. He gave ultimatum to rally near Jaipur at end of his five days Jan Sangharsh Padayatra from Ajmer.
He called for the “corrupt” Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to be dissolved and reconstituted in a professional manner; compensate young people for canceling intake exams for document leaks; and announcing an impartial inquiry into allegations of corruption against the former government of Vasundhara Raje.
“I promise that I will continue to serve the people of Rajasthan till my last breath whether or not I stay in any place. Nothing can scare or suppress me… We will walk with the people in villages and villages and get justice for the youth,” Pilot said.
On 10 April, Pilot had held a one-day “fast” protest in Jaipur to increase pressure on the state government to launch an investigation into alleged corruption cases when the BJP was in office from 2013 to 2018 with Raje as CM.
“So far, I have done a day’s fast and pulled out a ‘yatra’ from Ajmer to Jaipur. If no action is taken in the interests of the youth on these three demands, I will launch a statewide agitation,” he added. .
