NEW DELHI: Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shikhar Dhawan led from the front as he displayed exceptional on-pitch skills to dispatch Delhi Capitals (DC) captain David Warner in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match at India’s Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in Dharamsala on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the 11th over of the innings when Warner tried to slap Sam Curran‘s delivery downtown but ended up going wrong in the air. But an alert Dhawan ran from cover and executed a perfectly timed dive to his left, catching the ball in mid-air. His grip was so secure that even when his arms hit the ground, the ball didn’t jump out.

Warner had a strong innings, scoring 46 runs off 31 balls which included five fours and two sixes.
