By next IPL, Rinku Singh might not be an uncapped player: Harbhajan Singh

NEW DELHI: Lucknow Super Giants secured a playoff spot on Saturday for the second consecutive season, surviving a Rinku Singh assault. As Kolkata Knight Riders lost the game by the narrowest of margins, Rinku almost got a break, crushing 19 points in the final.
Hailing Rinku’s outstanding performance, Harbhajan Singh said the uncapped Indian player has now established himself among the esteemed match winners of the IPL.
Speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, Harbhajan said: “Rinku Singh has etched his name into the pantheon of legendary match finishers in IPL history. With his incredible performances this season, he has placed himself in the league of legends like Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard. I salute this exceptionally talented cricketer. He has won millions of hearts with his breathtaking shots this season and I bow to him. My best wishes to Rinku and his family. In the next IPL season he may not be an uncapped player.”
Harbhajan also praised LSG captain Krunal Pandya for putting his bowlers to good use in a must-win game against KKR. Despite leaking too many points on the power play, LSG fell back in the middle and came back.

Thanks to Krunal Pandya for spinning his bowlers well. It was the highest quality of spin bowling from LSG against KKR. Hats off to the spinners for playing bravely in the middle overs and in tough situations. Good signs for them heading into the playoffs as Chepauk traditionally favors spinners,” Harbhajan said.
