‘We aim to be back stronger’: Virat Kohli after RCB’s exit from IPL 2023 | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Star drummer Virat Kohli said on Tuesday that Royal Challengers Bangalore will aim to make a strong comeback next season after a disappointing outing from IPL 2023.
The former Indian skipper, who has seven hundred IPLs under his belt, asked RCB to keep his head held high.
“A season that had its moments but unfortunately we didn’t reach the goal. Disappointed, but we have to hold our heads up high. To our loyal supporters, grateful for supporting us every step of the way. and my teammates. We aim to come back stronger,” Kohli tweeted along with photos.

young sensation Shubman Gill scored a magnificent 104 from 52 to propel the Gujarat Titans to a thrilling victory. With GT’s victory, RCB were eliminated from the tournament and Mumbai Indians became the fourth and final team to enter the play-offs.
On the other hand, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis, who is currently the IPL 2023 orange cap holder, thanked the fans for the support and wished the other teams good luck for the qualifiers.
“What a great month of @iplt20 it’s been. Unfortunately the tournament is over for us. Thank you all for the support and for making it so special. Good luck to the last 4 teams. Now some time at home” , wrote Du Plessis on Instagram.

RCB finished the IPL 2023 in sixth position with 14 points.
