Spain: Appointment for full Spain Schengen visas for next month

The rush for summer travel abroad is underway and with it the demand for visas. He adds that there is high demand from India to visit Spain this summer for short-term visa categories, with BLS receiving over 10,000 applications each month since March 2023. However, BLS International has not not yet started processing national long stay visas for Spain. , which are entry and residence permits for a period longer than three months, and long-term student visas. National visas allow their holders not only to reside in Spain, but also to carry out several activities, whether the Spain Schengen visa prohibited.
Earlier this week, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAEUEC) awarded BLS International the global visa application outsourcing contract for the second consecutive time, according to a press release. .
The contract covers Europe, Americas, Latin America, CIS, Africa, Middle East and APAC, among other regions. BLS International has been serving the Spanish government since 2016 and currently operates 122 Visa Application Centers (VAC) in 40 countries.
BLS International handles approximately 2 million Spanish visa applications per year and the numbers are expected to increase further, according to the release. The domestic visa category is also being outsourced for the first time, which will lead to a further increase in volumes and the opening of offices in new geographies. As part of the contract, BLS will also offer various value-added services such as SMS, messaging services, mobile biometrics and premium lounge.
