Taarak Mehta reporter Priya Ahuja, alias Rita, says she is shocked that no one has supported Jennifer Mistry; husband Malav adds: “People who work there would not like to ruin their relationships”

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is making headlines for the Jennifer Mistry- Asit Kumarr Ways controversy. Priya Ahuja Rajdawho played the role of reporter Rita on the TV show, in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV supported Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. Priya and her husband Malav Rajda also revealed some shocking offers on Asit Kumarr mode. The actress confirmed that the allegations made against Jennifer were not false and that she was not unruly or bullied on set.
However, what shocked her the most was that no one came to support her after her release.
The actress said: “I’m very shocked that nobody supported Jennifer because she had a lot of close friends on the sets of the show. She was the one who was there with me during my depression. Jennifer even helped me with the meditation and played a part in bringing me and Malav closer in the beginning. I can confirm that she has never been violent or unruly on the sets of the show.
However, Malav added to this and said he wasn’t shocked at all and this was exactly what he expected. He also said that no one would want to ruin their relationship on set and therefore would not take a stand for Jennifer. He said, “I wasn’t shocked at all because the person who works there wouldn’t want to mess up their relationship.”
Priya also revealed that she didn’t get brought back to the show after her husband Malav left.
