NEW DELHI: An under construction Aguwani-Sultanganj Bridge in Bihar Bhagalpur it collapsed on Sunday.
The accident happened around 6pm. The moment the bridge collapsed was caught on camera by locals.

Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar ordered an investigation and asked to identify those responsible for the incident.

“No casualties so far. The local government is in place, we have requested a report from Pul Nirman Nigam,” ANI news agency quoted DDC Bhagalpur Kumar Anurag as saying.
Meanwhile, Bihar LoP Vijay Kumar Sinha criticized the government and said, ‘There is a tradition of job seeking. It is a consequence of his (Bihar CM Nitish Kumar) mentality of political instability that there is administrative anarchy and corruption The system is collapsing but they are collapsing speaking of opposition units.
The foundation of the 3,160m long four lane cable stayed bridge along with the access road with an estimated cost of Rs 1,710 crore was laid by CM Nitish Kumar on 23rd February 2014.
The bridge was to connect NH-31 and 107, connecting Sultanagnj with Khagaria, Saharsa, Madhepura and Supaul districts.
