NEW DELHI: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli could not have asked for a better send off from T20Is after winning the World Cup that ended India’s 11-year long trophy drought.
Kohli, who endured a lean patch throughout the tournament and scored just 75 runs before the final, played a match-winning knock of 76 in the title clash against South Africa. Rohit, on the other hand, ended the tournament as the second highest run-getter with 257 runs.

“That was my last game as well. Honestly, I have enjoyed it since the time I started playing this format. There is no better time to say goodbye to this format. I have loved every moment of it.
