JAKARTA: A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia’s North Sumatra province in the early hours of Friday, according to the National Seismology Center.
However, no casualties have been reported so far. “Earthquake of magnitude: 4.7, occurred on 23-09-2022, 01:06:38 IST, latitude: 5.05 and length: 96.15, depth: 10 km, region: North Sumatra, Indonesia ā€œ, tweeted the National Seismology Center.

A month earlier, on August 23, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck the western province of Bangkulu.
