Speaking of the Huracan Sterrato which was presented globally last month, Lamborghini defines the Sterrato as “the first super sports car designed for maximum driving pleasure even away from the asphalt on bumpy or dirt surfaces.
The Huracan Sterrato gets a number of cosmetic changes over the standard Huracan sports car. It gets wheel arch extensions, differently designed front and rear bumpers, reinforced sills and aluminum underbody protection. The Sterrato also gets the roof-mounted air intake, and Lamborghini claims it allows the engine to breathe clean air when the paved roads fade. The Sterrato also has reinforced stone guard along with a pair of LED light bars.
The Sterrato gets new 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tires. The dual-purpose tires measure 235/40-R19 front and 285/40-R19 rear, and also feature runflat technology.
Moving on to the interior, the layout is the same as the standard Huracan but the Sterrato gets new Green Alcantara upholstery along with new graphics for the touchscreen. It also has special off-road features such as a digital inclinometer with pitch and roll indicator, compass, geographic coordinate indicator and steering angle indicator.
Speaking of the powertrain, the Huracan Sterrato will be powered by a 5.2-litre NA V10 engine that produces 610PS and 560Nm of torque and is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The Sterrato also gets an electronically controlled all-wheel drive system and a rear mechanical limited slip differential.
Lamborghini claims the Sterrato can go from 0-100 in 3.4 seconds and top speed is limited to 260km/h. The car is also equipped with three modes, namely: Rally, Road and Sport mode.
