Donald Trump’s association with the NFL, specifically the New England Patriots, has been well-known. His admiration for the team, particularly quarterback Tom Brady, has often been in the news. What Did Donald Trump Say?

Tom Brady, though not overtly political, has had a long-standing friendship with Trump, which was highlighted when a “Make America Great Again” hat was spotted in his locker before the 2016 presidential election.During a 2015 interview with WEEI, Brady described Trump as a close friend, saying, “Donald is a good friend of mine.”
Brady’s achievements both on and off the field have cemented his legacy in the NFL. However, behind the scenes, former Rolling Stone editor-in-chief Jann Wenner revealed that Trump had once seen Brady as his son-in-law. According to Wenner, he contacted Sam Nunberg, who served as Trump’s consultant at one time. And, Nunberg also nodded saying that Trump had suggested Brady should date his daughter Ivanka Trump, and it was claimed that “Donald [Trump] would frequently say that Tom [Brady] knows that Melania is prettier than Gisele. And he … did occasionally say, don’t you think Ivanka is prettier than Gisele?”

The suggestion that Trump would make such comments may raise eyebrows, but those familiar with his persona might not find it surprising. The dynamic between Trump and Brady has long been speculated upon, leaving many wondering if the quarterback still maintains his friendship with the former president.
Interestingly, Brady had made efforts to distance himself from political discussions, as it was once revealed that his ex-wife Gisele had asked him to steer clear of politics. As Brady himself noted, “I talked to my wife, and she said I can’t talk about politics anymore. I think that’s a good decision for our family.” Despite Trump publicly mentioning that Brady had voted for him in 2016, Brady remained evasive on the topic, preferring to focus on his football career rather than political controversies.
In light of these revelations, questions linger about how close Trump and Brady remain, especially after such personal comments have surfaced.
